FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

ORDERS

  • At VanEssential, we ship all orders as quickly as possible. If your order has not yet shipped, we will happily make any necessary changes or cancellations. However, if your order has already shipped, we cannot make any modifications or cancellations. Instead, you will need to go through our standard returns process if you would like to exchange an item or receive a refund. Please contact us immediately if you need to change or cancel your order.

  • A confirmation email will be sent automatically if an order is successfully placed. Please allow a few minutes for the email to arrive. If you have not received the email, it could be due to one of the following reasons: 1) the order was not successfully placed or your payment method was declined; 2) there is a typo in your email address or the wrong email address was auto-filled at checkout; or 3) the email was sorted into the spam folder. Please contact our customer service team for assistance if you did not receive your confirmation email.

  • If your order has not yet shipped, we can change your address without issue. Please contact our customer service team immediately, and they can assist with a change of address.

  • Unfortunately, we are unable to accept orders over the phone. If additional assistance is needed, please contact our customer service team, and we will do our best to help you.

SHIPPING

  • Unfortunately, we are not able to deliver to PO Boxes. We ship all orders with UPS and they will not deliver to PO Boxes. If you only have a PO Box and would still like to order, shipping directly to a UPS location or a friend’s residence in your area will be the best solution.

  • UPS Ground will be used to ship all orders placed on VanEssetial.com. Shipping on all orders over $50 is free.

  • Yes, pickups directly from the VanEssential warehouse are welcome, 9AM - 4PM MT, Monday - Thursday. Before stopping by, please call or email our customer service team (info@vanessential.com) to schedule an appointment.

  • Please reach out to our customer service team immediately. We will file a claim with UPS and send you a replacement free of charge.

  • If any item is missing from your shipment, please contact our customer service team immediately. We will send you the missing item free of charge and as soon as possible.

  • All in-stock orders will ship the next business day. Orders placed Monday through Thursday (holidays and office closures excluded) before our 3 pm Mountain Standard Time cut-off will ship the same day.

  • Yes, we ship to Canada! Shipping is free for orders over $50 USD, but we charge a $30 USD fee per order to cover duty and customs. We ship all orders “Delivered Duty Paid” meaning you will not be responsible for additional taxes or fees upon package delivery. Shipping times to Canada are typically 5-7 days, and all prices displayed on VanEssential.com are USD and not CAD.

RETURNS

  • Returns are accepted 30 days from ship date, with shipping cost at the customer’s expense. Shipping costs will be covered only if the return is through the fault of VanEssential, such as an incorrect item or manufacturing defect. Please email us at info@vanessential.com for a return authorization number before sending back your item.

    Returns must be sent back in their original packaging and unused (no pet hair, dirt, saw dust etc). If the return does not meet these conditions, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund provided. Returns will be refunded to the original payment method. We do not accept returns or provide refunds for products purchased from other retailers.

    No returns from Canada.

  • VanEssential stands behind everything we make. We offer a manufacturer Lifetime Warranty on our workmanship for the original purchaser of the product. Warranty claims will either be corrected or replaced with similar parts (subject to availability) or with current version products. In the event a product is discontinued, reasonable attempts will be made to fix any issues. If the item cannot be fixed or is subject to replacement and the product no longer exists, a store credit will be issued. VanEssential does not have warranty on normal wear and tear but will try to make it right if something goes wrong where we can.

  • Due to a change in tariffs, we no longer are able to accept international returns.

PAYMENTS

  • At VanEssential, we are committed to offering fair, transparent pricing year round. As such, we never discount our products and forgo hidden markups and seasonal gimmicks. This approach is built on trust—we want you to know that when you buy our products, you're getting durable, high-performance gear at a fair price, every time.

  • All prices displayed on VanEssential.com are in USD and not CAD.

  • VISA, MasterCard, DISCOVER, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

  • We charge a fee of $25 USD per order to cover duty and customs. We ship all orders “Delivered Duty Paid” meaning you will not be responsible for additional taxes or fees upon package delivery.

  • We do not charge sales tax for orders outside of Colorado. Sales tax is calculated automatically at checkout for orders placed in Colorado.

  • Yes, all pricing is USD.

FIT/INSTALL/USE

  • You can find all necessary fitment information on our Window Covers product pages. You can send pictures of the window in question from inside your van and our team will take a look and suggest the best cover for your van.
