Believe it or not, you can install L-Track in 15 minutes or less.

In this guide, we’ll focus on mounting L-Track to wood paneling or walls. (Looking to install on sheet metal? Check out our instructions here.)

Step 1: Choose Your Profile

For beginners, we recommend angled, semicircle, or rectangular profiles. Functionally, they’re all the same—so choose the look that fits your aesthetic.

Step 2: Choose Your Location

One of the biggest advantages of L-Track is that it can be mounted almost anywhere in your van:

  1. Floor

  2. Ceiling

  3. Walls

  4. Rear doors

  5. Cabinets or kitchen areas

A few of our favorite spots:

  1. Walls → great for hanging clothes hooks or stow bags

  2. Side of cabinets or sink → perfect for hand towels or a leash

Step 3: Ready, Set, Drill

  1. Hold the L-Track in place where you want to install it.

  2. Pre-drill mounting holes using a 1/4" drill bit

  3. Secure the track with #12 wood screws.

  4. Bonus: Add end caps for a clean, finished look.
